Arizona Recent Arrests is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, provide or remove a booking photo, post bond, or retrieve an official record. For a current answer or a copy, use the government office that keeps the record.
Choose the Arizona office that holds the record
Arizona has no single public county-jail roster for all arrests. A county's sheriff or detention agency is the starting point for its booking and current-custody information; state-prison, state-trooper, court, federal, and immigration records sit in separate systems. Use the County Directory to select the county linked to the event, then check that agency's own records instructions.
- County arrest, booking, custody, or photo: choose the county in the County Directory. Follow that county's official link to its sheriff or detention agency for the roster and records-request route. Arizona's public-records rules begin at A.R.S. § 39-121 and § 39-121.01, but lawful withholding and fees can apply, and an online roster is not the full record set.
- State-trooper or highway incident: check AZDPS News & Press Releases for selected public updates. For an AZDPS arrest or incident report, use its Records Request page or Public Services Portal. AZDPS says it does not accept requests by phone; if a city or county agency made the record, ask that agency instead. The AZDPS arrest guide explains the distinction between a trooper arrest and county booking.
- Sentenced state-prison custody: use the ADCRR Inmate Data Search. It covers the state-prison layer after court and sentencing, not a fresh county booking.
- Case status after an arrest: begin with Arizona Public Access Case Lookup, then verify an important result with the court. It is a case index, not a jail roster. For a warrant, the AZDPS Warrant Search is a starting point only; confirm a result with the issuing court.
- Federal custody: search the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. BOP covers federal prison custody and does not publish routine public booking photos.
- Immigration custody: use the ICE Online Detainee Locator System. It is a separate system and does not cover every arrest in Arizona.
- A named facility: this site does not keep a separate facility directory. Start with the county where the arrest or custody is reported and follow the official county link in the County Directory.
